A day at the sea for the residents of a nursing home
Residents of nursing homes rarely leave their institution. In the summer of 2020, Karim Gharbi funded recreational outings for the nursing home in Manouba and for the residential unit for people with special needs in Grombalia.
A day at the beach
On 7 August 2020, a coach took the residents of a nursing home to the beach at Espace Jawhara. Volunteers from the association Ness El Lil helped those who could not walk, musicians played the mezoued and the tabla, lifeguards helped residents into the sea, and a full meal was served on the sand.

A few weeks later, on 22 August 2020, Karim visited a care home for elderly men, greeting residents one by one and listening to the management’s concerns about delayed budgets.
