14 children of La Voix de l’Enfant in Nabeul
In November 2019, Karim Gharbi took full financial charge of 14 babies and children cared for by the association La Voix de l’Enfant (The Voice of the Child) in Nabeul, on Tunisia’s Cap Bon.
The association, which looks after abandoned and orphaned children, thanked him publicly: “Thank you to Karim for the nobility of his gesture towards our children.”
What the support covers
The commitment covers the daily life of the children: a safe home, food, schooling, healthcare and the care every child needs to grow up with confidence.
A continuing commitment
A year later, in December 2020, the Tunisian press still cited the 14 children of Nabeul when Karim announced a programme to renovate schools and hospitals in the country’s most deprived regions. Support for children has been a constant of his work, from the centres of Zahrouni and Gammarth in 2018 to the schools of Kasserine.
