Gaza: iftar meals in Ramadan and a food distribution in June 2025
In March 2025, during Ramadan, volunteers of the Sanad wa Awn initiative in Gaza prepared iftar meals funded by Karim Gharbi. Large pots of meat and rice were cooked over wood fires, then packed into trays and handed out with water and boxes of dates to families in the streets and in the tent camps. The banner behind them read: “Iftar tables for the holy month of Ramadan, from the dear brother Kadorim. Thank you, K2.”

Three months later, on 19 June 2025, a second banner announced the “Kadorim initiative for Gaza” as volunteers ladled food into the pots of a large crowd. “We thank the dear brother, son of green Tunisia, K2Rhym, for standing with his brothers in the Gaza Strip,” one of them said, “given the difficult conditions and the closure of the crossings.”
