Medical aid for Palestinians through the Tunisian Red Crescent
In October 2023, Karim Gharbi sent a shipment of medical supplies, oxygen machines and electricity generators for Palestinians, delivered through the Tunisian Red Crescent.
Equipment that saves lives
The choice of equipment echoed his work in Tunisia during the COVID-19 pandemic, when oxygen concentrators and hospital equipment were what regional hospitals needed most. Generators keep that equipment running when the power fails.
Going through the Red Crescent, a recognised humanitarian organisation, ensured that the aid reached those who needed it. “In every campaign he doesn’t hold back,” a Red Crescent official said as volunteers unloaded the generators. “He asked what we needed, we told him generators.”
